The tools above make a document you send yourself. When you would rather send and get paid from one place, BrickByClick has two self-serve plans you set up on your own.

Free invoicing

$0 a month, no card

Keep a customer list, email invoices with a pay link and take card or bank payments through your own Stripe account. Card payments cost Stripe’s processing plus 0.5% (max $25); bank payments have no BrickByClick fee. Estimates and jobs are not on Free.

Starter

$99 a month

The CRM with estimates, a job tracker, invoices and card payments, an online booking page, the crew app, team logins, email follow-ups and review requests, and a free website on a brickbyclick address that you fill in yourself.

Questions people ask

Are these tools really free?
Yes. All 25 tools and templates are free to use, with no sign-up, no account and no email address needed.
Is anything I type sent or saved?
No. The browser tools run on your own device: nothing you type is sent to BrickByClick or anyone else, and nothing is saved, so copy, print or save your result before you close the page. The templates are files you download and fill in on your own computer.
Which tool should I use to make an invoice?
For a quick PDF, use the free invoice generator, or the plumbing, cleaning or HVAC version with typical lines filled in. If you would rather keep invoices in a program you already use, download the Word, Excel, Google Sheets, Google Docs or PDF template.
Do the templates work in Google Docs and Google Sheets?
Yes. The Google Docs invoice is a .docx you open in Google Docs with File, Open, Upload. The Google Sheets invoice is an .xlsx you upload and open with Google Sheets; its formulas keep working there.
Can I put a calculator on my own website?
Yes. The margin, roofing and square footage calculators each have an “Embed this calculator” box on their page with code to copy and paste. The calculator runs in your visitors’ browsers. Nothing your visitors type is sent anywhere, and it sets no cookies. A credit link is appreciated, not required.
What is the difference between these tools and BrickByClick Free?
These tools make a document you send yourself. BrickByClick Free ($0 a month) keeps a customer list, emails invoices with a pay link and takes card or bank payments through your own Stripe account. Estimates, jobs, booking, the crew app and follow-up emails come with Starter at $99 a month.
